Survey Task Reflection
ReplyDeleteAfter completing the survey and performing the presentation there are several areas in which my group and I did and did not do well. My group did well in choosing an interesting and unique topic, “superstition”. This kept us interested which also maintained interest to the audience and surveyors. Also the survey was done well in terms of simplicity and how the questions were easy to follow. The report and conclusion were also effective in expressing our results. However, certain things in which my group didn’t do well included: presentation timing which took 25 minutes, the amount of slides in the body of the presentation and also maintaining eye contact to the middle, left and right of the audience. Next time there are several things I would do to improve. First I would definitely plan to have a time to rehearse the presentation properly; this would fix several issues such as timing and slide length. Also, it would be better if my group was to survey a higher amount of people as 20 is a significantly low number. In general I enjoyed the assignment and am happy of what my group and I have achieved.
Evaluation
ReplyDeleteAfter I saw the video recording of my group's presentation, I noticed several things that I did well and didn't do well. I did well in explaining the graph shown in the presentation slide as I explained it briefly. But I might only need to explain the majority of the results and not all of them, in other words, the things that stand out the most.
